Parents,
The Mattawa Child Care Centre has been working diligently to make improvements within the centre to provide the best quality childcare possible.
Beginning August 1, 2009, the “Per Schedule” spaces will be eliminated. Also, to ensure that we have adequate staffing to meet the needs of the children we are now requesting the following:
- Parents are asked to provide the Centre with a bi-weekly schedule of their child’s attendance. If a schedule is not given in advance, unfortunately your child’s space may not be available to you.
- Morning schedule will be from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This includes a morning snack and a hot lunch. If your child remains at the Centre past 12:00 p.m., full day rates will be applied.
- Afternoon schedule will begin at 12:00 to 5:30 p.m. This includes a hot lunch and afternoon snack. If you child arrives prior to 12:00 p.m., full day rates will be applied.
The Ministry of Children’s Services has guidelines for licensed Child Care Centres to follow, and we are working together to ensure that these guidelines are followed.
